Search: studies, people, sites and functions

Find a page or a tool of any section by its name or an abbreviation, only what you may open.

The search box at the top of the portal finds your studies, the people and sites of your teams, and the functions of every section: the pages and tools you look for but do not remember where they are. Inside a study the same box finds patients by number; the portal search works on the pages outside a study.

How to find a function

Write what you need in your own words: its name (“validation package”), what it does (“SAE reconciliation”, “database lock”) or a common abbreviation (“UAT”, “SDTM”, “IQ”, “TSR”, “SAE”, “ICF”). Russian or English, with one wrong letter, in any form of the word, even as a sentence: “where is the validation package”. The beginning of a word is enough: “random” finds randomisation.

Search for “validation package”: the study's validation package with buttons of the study codes, the help and its sections

What the results show

On the left, the functions: the name with its link, the section of the portal (YouEDC Capture, YouEDC Studio and the others, “In a study” for the pages of a study), one line on what the function does and a link to its help. A study page opens in any of your studies that have it: buttons with the study codes are under it. A function that lives inside a page (remote consent, for example) leads to the help article that says how to use it.

On the right, the help articles and their sections: the link of a section leads straight to its heading. Below, as before, the studies, people and sites found by the same words.

What you will not see

The search shows only what you may open. Functions the administrator switched off or did not allow you are not shown; administration pages are shown to administrators only; a study page is shown only in the studies where your role gives it (an investigator does not see the study's validation package, for example). The help is open to everyone.
